Why did you decide to move to Vallarta: We spend most of our time wishing we were here when we are not.
What other places did you consider: Ajijic and the Lake Chapala Area
What were the main reason(s) you moved here: The people, the climate and the variety of opportunities available in Puerto Vallarta.
What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now:
- Learn to relax and be flexible.
- Understand that “manana” doesn’t mean tomorrow, it means not today
- Immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy all that life has to offer here.

We live in Flagler Beach FL, next to Palm Coast. Saw you used to live in Palm Coast FL. We are researching Mexico and the areas in and around PV. Are you living there full-time now? We don’t want to have two homes after all we are looking to make it “simple.” Looked at Ecuador but didn’t want to move there. I am planning a trip by self soon as my husand needs to take care of him mom and our 3 doggies whom we would be bringing along when we move. How complicated is the whole process of moving? Did you buy or rent? We think we will need a home because of the dogs and not a condo. Still want to garden and would like a pool. I plan to fly into PV and I guess want to see Sayulita, and Manzanillo while there. Don’t want to rent a car and drive because of safety and not knowing how to get around so if you have any suggestions please let me know. my email is pammann@cfl.rr.com

Hi Bud & Lois! Found out from Rich Heyne you had move to PV; I gather awhile back.
