How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: Anything you can help me with would be fantastic!! This is a huge move and I only have about a month to do it, so any advice on where to live, how to get around, what you wished you knew about moving here, cell phone/internet plans, banks etc!

I am single also and have bought a place recently in Marina Vallarta, at Puesta del Sol, club de tenis. I find the Marina area to be quiet and safe. It is a community unto itself with restaurants, hairdressers, massage, mani and pedi all there., shopping close by at Plaza Mexicana. You can go to almost anywhere by bus and taxis are cheap ($5 to $10 anywhere pretty much). I bank with O’Rourke and Associates at Plaza Mexicana and the manager is Diana Ramirez. She speaks perfect English and is very helpful.
Now if you are looking for a place to live. I am in Canada and won’t be coming to Vallarta until November. I have an apartment that I just bought a couple of weeks ago as a winter residence. If you are interested and or are looking, I could provide short term shelter for you until you gain a footing.
