    What a beautiful home!!

My friend and I will be in PV from April 16-26th. We would love to meet some of you as I will be looking for a winter stay beginning later this year. I’m a single mom and my daughter is leaving the nest in August ( sob…).

Please view my profile and do get back to me before the 16th if you know of any soire, networking event, etc. that would be good for us. My interests are theater, writing, swimming and – most recently, learning Spanish!

    Many thanks!

      Hi Dennis:
Thank you! This is very helpful. Sara said there is a coffee at the Starbuck’s near the Marina during the time I will be visiting. I’ll be there – hope to meet you!

Arlene, PV is a wonderful place to live. There are many activities for gringos. I drive by Starbucks on Mondaty, Tuesday and Friday between 10:30 am and 10:45 am on the way to teach at Casa Hogar Maximo Cornejo Quiroz Orphanage. Let me know if that interests you and we can pick you up on our way. Having lived here full time for 11 years we can probably answer a lot of your questions.

          Dennis-
That’s very kind of you. There are two of us… I am traveling with a friend. We will be staying in a cute little place in the Romantic Zone. We want to immerse ourselves in the culture so we are staying away from resorts (although they DO look tempting!). Last time I was in the Hotel Zone but now that I’m serious about long-term stays (3-4 months per year), it would not be realistic to stay in that area any longer. Let’s keep in touch!

We live up the Rio Cuale so we are fairly close. Many come for 3 to 6 months to escape the cold of the north.
