What part of town do you live? Mismaloya & South Bay
Why did you decide to move? I had just graduated and it was a time when I could make a big move. I had no debt, husband or children.
Where else did you consider? no where
What were your considerations; Proximity to the States, nice people, nice weather for six months, great food!
What was the main reason(s) you moved here? I liked the people here and the ocean and the mountains.
Top 3 things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now?
- Never underestimate a Mexican. They are very wise.
- Learn Spanish.
- Learn about the culture. Enjoy your new life here.

Glad to read someone is from Iowa. I grew up there a few centuries ago. 🙂 However, I really like people I meet that are from Iowa. So, Hello, Mary. I hope to meet you one day.
I intend to move there in July of this year. I hope to connect with some people beforehand, so I have someone famiiar to talk to when I get there.
Not sure what area I will want to live in. I will visit in early June and check it out. So, I am trying to get as much info as I can ahead of time.
