Where are you living now / where are you from: I am a former military brat living in Phoenix, AZ, so have lived all over the place.

Timeframe for a move: I may move in the Fall of 2015.

Where else are you considering: I’m also considering staying in Phoenix.

Why Vallarta: I have visited PV several times in the past, and always enjoyed it. My daughter is currently living in PV.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I have chronic asthma, and am eligible for Medicare. I’m wondering about medical care and prescription drugs, and if it is worth it to enroll in Medicare if i am living abroad. what to do?

    HI Tandra, I’m moving down from Colorado in Sept, ’15. From what I understand we can’t use our Medicare there. BUT, the doctors are great very low office visit cost, and scripts are very inexpensive. I have 2 cousins retired there, and they pay $38.00 per office visit. Hope this helps…
