We are researching PV and surrounding areas to retire. Made a trip to Ecuador but not for us. Love the culture and people. Didn’t feel safe in Ecuador. I will be making a trip by self and hope it is safe for a single woman to look at property in the area. I will fly into PV and not sure how I will get from town to town as I don’t want to rent a car and drive in a place I am not famiar with. How is the bus system? Is it safe for me to travel along? Any thoughts on PV, Sayulta and Manzanillo? Looking for a home with view and pool. Do you live there year round? We heard it is not a good idea to be there in the summer hot months and that your electic bill would be sky high because of air conditioner in summer months. We really don’t want to have two homes and therefore would probably be there year round. Would like to have nice golf course around also. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi William,
Hope you are doing very well.
I have lived in San Francisco for more than 15 years, own a Spanish language school in the city and I am considering the option
to live part time in SF and somewhere else in Latin America and I think that Puerto Vallarta would a great option, since I am planning to teach Spanish to foreigners there too.
I will much appreciate your feedback and opinion.
Note: I will be in PV for one weekend at the end of July.
    Hope hear from you.
    Thanks,
    Carlos
